What is HardieDeck™ Fibre Cement made of?
Fibre Reinforced Cement products are a mixture of:
- Cellulose fibre, from plantation-grown Radiata Pine trees
- Portland Cement
- Sand
- Water
Small amounts of other chemical additives are used to help the process, or provide products with particular characteristics.
Where can I buy a HardieDeck™ system from?
While James Hardie makes the HardieDeck™ boards, the products then goes through a number of hands before they end up in your home.
The products are sold to distributors who then sell on to builders, installers and other specialist distributors, who either supply them directly to you or install them at your home.
